Farming adventure at Tronador - Rural tourism activities - farm lifestyle
Since last season we have added a new rural tourism activity option to the wide service span at Hotel Tronador. We use a cattleman outpost called Puesto Cretón; located at the Vuriloches Valley 7 kilometers from Hotel Tronador, heading toward Pampa Linda. This outpost is surrounded by untamed wildlife, by Manso Superior river where is located our milking facility which supplies the hotel with milk and dairy products (cheese, butter, cream) during the summer season.
At Puesto Cretón we have stables and cattle pen with permits given by the National Park Administration to house cattle, stables, cattle managing facilities, warehouse and a dairy farmer house located at a nice clearing surrounded by ñires, beech trees. We have remodeled this house for rural tourism activities. For those guests who are willing to take part of this new wildlife rural tourism activity option we have for overnight stay 2 tipi type tents with 6 comfortable beds each and an iron stove for heating.
What rural tourism tour options do we offer?
Our farmland adventures and rural tourism programs are tailor-made tours individually catered to the guest preferences and wishes. You may go just for the day returning to the hotel Tronador at the evening or you may stay at the dairy outpost for two or more days. You have also different choices of locomotion to transfer from the hotel Tronador to the Cretón outpost, here apply two options.
Options:
1- You may go horseback riding both ways.
2- You may arrive to the dairy outpost by car and return to the hotel paddling with a raft at the Manso Superior river.
3- You may go and return by car.
