No. there is no reliable Postnet service in the area so we
are unable to accept credit or debit cards. Please check the
means of payment available at the Price
list page.
Do you rent cabins - shacks?
No, Hotel Tronador does not have cabins - shacks for renting.
Do you allow pets at the Hotel?
No, we do not accept pets in the hotel facilities.
Do you have vegetarian meals?
Yes, if you are vegetarian or on a special diet please mention
this when booking so we can prepare you special meals according
to your specific diet.
Do you have docking facilities at the
hotel?
Yes we have docking facilities for motorboats booting.
What is an apartment room?
The apartment rooms are rooms with two bedrooms, one bathroom
and a connecting hall or dressroom. It is very comfortable
for families with children and groups of youngsters or friends.

a restriction or just a recommendation?
The one way road restriction timetables are very strict and
you should apply them..
Which are the best flights that I should take in order
to avoid waiting time in Bariloche?
You should take the earlier flights to Bariloche (those that
arrive before 12,30 hs. am) or you should take the last flights
(those that arrive about 18,30 Hs)
If I travel with my own car at what time should I have
to leave from Bariloche to be on times before the roads one
way restriction applies?
You should leave before 12,30 Hs or after 18.30hs
How
do you arrive to the hotel if you do not have your own car?
You can arrive with a remisse (kind of cab) or van (you may
ask for this service when you book your lodge through the
booking
form)
Public transportation. There is no steady bus line to the
hotel. There is a shuttle service which works just in high
season from December onwards which goes to Pampa Linda. Check
with us availability and timetables.
Another unexpensive option (for one or two persons lodged in downtown Bariloche) is to hire a tour to Tronador, staying at hotel Tronador on the way back of the tour.
Is it convenient to rent a
car?
It depends on which activities do you plan to do during your
stay. If you will be horseback riding, trekking, rafting and
fly fishing in the hotel surroundings then there is no need
to rent a car. But if you plan to do overland excursions (to
Tronador - Pampa Linda, Los Alerces waterfall, El Bolsón)
ór any other activity in Pampa Linda then it is advisable
that you rent a car and do not depend on transfer services.
