Our horseback riding through the streams and mountains for 3 hours is something we will tell about for years to come. The food was incredible - our compliments to the chef! Your family and all others who help us during our stay were all so warm + helpful since we really don't speak any Spanish. Beni was a gentle, conscientious and eager guide for our large group. His patience with little kids made a big difference. What an incredible way to be introduced to horseback riding! The scenery is breathtaking - whether the mountains, lakes, streams or the lovely gardens around the Hotel. We hiked up to splendid views + collapsed back into our comfortable rooms. Many thanks for looking after us so well. We were very pleased to see the Tronador Hotel when we came over from Refugio Jakob and the Casalata in the rain. We were overwhelmed by the warm reception we received, boots and wet clothes whisked away, tea and hot baths - paradise indeed! What a location! Despite some cold weather on Friday, with Benni's help I managed to catch a few brook trout in the lake, and on Saturday our short hike to laguna Los Cesares was a delight, as was the Cascada, and some more fish were caught and put back into the lake - using the deep slow technique with the fly. In conclusion a wonderful, magical stay at this great spot - and a thousand thanks for your warm hospitality. Best wishes

I feel I have found a very special piece of paradise here and cannot wait for return and share it with the people y care about. Nowhere in the world have I found such a magical lake to swim in. The rafting with Nico was fantastic and the horses were great that carried us most of the way to laguna Azul (swimming there alone surrounded by the snow capped mountains was out of this world!)
